Health Tip of the Week: Sun Block Dangers
As we enter the summer season, spending time outdoors, it is essential to pay attention to sun exposure. A healthy amount of natural sun exposure is very good for you.
The rays from the sun allow the body to create vitamin D, an essential vitamin known to strengthen teeth and bones, enhance immune system function and even lower your risks to certain health issues. Vitamin D is one of the most important vitamins needed for optimal health.
When boosting vitamin D levels through sun exposure, the body should wear as little clothes as possible and no sun block is placed on the body. This will allow you to derive maximum benefit from the sun. No, I’m not talking about you having to join a nudist colony, just bathing suits. To acquire vitamin D, you need full body exposure, not just your arms and legs. Sun block blocks the rays that allow the body to create vitamin D.
Here is the tricky part. Too much sun can damage the skin and lead to skin cancer. To have your body make vitamin D, we need healthy sun exposure. 20-30 minutes a day is all that it takes. It is also important to follow the UV Sunburn Index. If the day is a 9 or a 10, you may only have 15 minutes in the peak sun before your skin burns.
To get around this short period of time, try and get your sun exposure in the off peak hours, like 9am to 11am and after 5pm. Once your body has had its 20-30 minutes of healthy sun exposure, then it is time to either get out of the sun, cover up with UV protective clothing or put on some sun block.
Here is the even trickier part. Most commercial sun blocks and lotions are full of harmful chemicals that may and do have cancer causing properties in lab animals.
Here is a list of chemicals commonly found in sun blocks:
- Benzophenone (Oxybenzone)
- Avobenzon
- Benzene
- Formaldehyde (Quaternium 15, DMDM Hydantoin, Hydroxymethylglycinate)
- Homosalate
- Methylisothiazolinone
- Microbeads
- Parabens
The absolutely two worst chemicals are the Benzene / Benzone family and the parabens.
Paraben is excito-toxin that disrupts the endocrine system (hormonal) in the body. They can also mimic the activity of estrogen in the body.
Benzone is another hormonal disrupter and Benzene is associated with the formation of blood cancers.
The most popular products that contained high levels of benzene came from certain brands:
- Neutrogena
- Sun Bum
- CVS Health
- Fruit of the Earth
Please read the labels on your sun block. Look for paraben and benzene, benzone free blocks. Try all natural sun blocks.
All-natural zinc based sun blocks are the best. They block all the sun and have zero chemicals.
Lastly, add the supplement Astaxanthin to the diet. This all natural supplement helps block the sun from burning the skin. As far as spices go (and supplements) Turmeric is very beneficial to skin health and may be the reason the India diet high in Turmeric produces a lower amount of skin cancer in that country.
Covid-19 Update
In an interview broadcast on June 10th, Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA vaccine technology, discussed the implications of Pfizer blood distribution study from Japan. The study was made public earlier this month by Dr. Byram Bridle, a viral immunologist. This study has been kept from the public and was only released due to a request to the Japanese government using the Freedom of Information Act.
The study reports how the lipid-nanoparticles, which tells the body to create the spike protein in the Covid-19 vaccine, leaves the injection site (shoulder) and then can accumulate in the body’s organs and tissues.
Regulators and vaccine developers have said that spike protein stays in the injection site and was not biologically active. This statement is contraindicated in the study where the spike proteins have been found in the ovaries, spleen, bone marrow, liver and adrenal glands. Not just the shoulder.
Dr. Malone, the mRNA inventor said, “This data has been out there a long time”. According to Malone, the FDA knew the Covid spike protein was biologically active and could travel from the injection site and cause adverse events and that the spike protein, if biologically active, is very dangerous.
In fact, Malone was one of many scientists to warn the FDA about the dangers of the free spike protein. Malone suggested autoimmune issues may be related to free-circulating spike protein which developers assured would not happen.
Covid-19 Vaccine Informed Consent Information
Adverse reactions from the CDC website (VAERS). I report on the VAERS statistics so you are aware of any risk associated with the vaccine. The news in general does not report on vaccine risks. Statistically, compared to the 299 million vaccine doses given thus far, reactions are considered low. But as seen below, they do happen and it is important that people are aware and are not vaccinated without being made aware of possible adverse reactions that can happen. It is important to know.
This week’s number of reported deaths among all age groups following COVID vaccines is 5,993, up 103 from last week, according to data released this week by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The data comes directly from reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).
According to the site, 23% of the deaths occurred within 48 hrs of vaccination, 16% within 24 hrs and 39% occurred in people who became ill within 48 hrs of the vaccination.
VAERS is the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed. Every Friday, VAERS makes public all vaccine injury reports received as of a specified date, usually about a week prior to the release date.
Today’s data show that between Dec. 14, 2020 and June 18th, a total of 358,379 adverse reactions were reported to VAERS, including 5,993 deaths.
There were 29,871 serious injuries reported, up 1,430 compared with last week.
2,136 pregnant women have reported adverse reactions and there were 707 reports of miscarriage or premature birth.
0ver 100,736 adverse event reports were for anaphylactic shock, 3,516 reports of Bell’s Palsy and 6352 were cases of blood clots.
Prenatal, Pregnancy and Chiropractic Care
While the dietary goal in pregnancy is to have a healthy, wholesome whole foods diet, it is also important to take a prenatal vitamin supplement. Ideally, if trying to conceive, this is the time to start taking prenatal vitamins. If you don't know your are pregnant then start the pregnancy vitamins asap.
One of the most important supplements included in the pregnancy vitamins is folic acid which can help prevent birth defects.
